What is the significance of the title: A Lever Long Enough? Are there
different types of levers (physical, emotional, spiritual) in this book?
2. How is Benjamin torn apart by his attraction to Sara?
3. Which character do you most identify with, and why?
4. Why is being "A Follower of the Way" perceived to be so dangerous to the Jewish state of Israel?

Why does Gideon act the way he does? Is he motivated only by greed, or
are there other motives as well? How do his motives contrast with
Aaron's?
6. Do you think the FlashBack mission would be
effective for stopping the Followers of the Way? Would there have been
a better use for the machine?
